Disabled diving, Inormations:
Two of the biggest organisations for dinving instruction (PADI and NAUI) have developped an internationally apporved programm of instruction and certification for divers of most varied degrees of disability, such as para- and quadriplegics, blind people or people with minor brain lesions.
An international network with over 1800 specially trained instructors in more than 45 countries is instructing after the regulations of the HSA (Handicaped Scuba Assosiation). Thus, it is worldwide considered the leading authority when it comes to disabled diving. Basically, the HSA is about the person itself.
